With virtual assistants advancing, could we be seeing digital insight into a future of 'virtual assistant' possibilities for our own brands and how does this effect SEO?

With more and more searcher’s using virtual assistants: Studies from Kleiner Perkins (KPCB) Internet Trends 2016 show that consumers benefit from voice interfaces because they are fast, easy, personalised, context driven and keyboard free, particularly on mobile devices.

In any SEO marketing campaign, the primary concern is, the search user. The top search engines endorse this. Yahoo!’s mission statement is to connect people to their passions, communities, and the world’s knowledge. Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

SEO is big on optimising for mobile and speed, any internet marketer will tell you this. It is important to take into consideration that If your brand has, or is looking to adopt virtual technology, then voice search SEO is essential to improve the mobile user experience, brand recognition and authority. Do not forget that you’re providing this voice search experience for your end users. Having a mobile-friendly or basic RWD (Responsive Web Design) is simply not enough. In addition, voice search content optimisation will require relevant keywords based on natural ‘conversational’ search queries.
